My name is James Heard and I operate
 this website.
The main objective of the site is to
provide information about teaching
English to those who need it,
whether they are students or teachers.
As we all know, there is tons of
information on the Internet about English.
You may be
asking what qualifies me to operate such a site.
I have been
teaching English overseas for the last 15 years or so. I
have
taught primarily conversation classes to all age
groups and ability levels-
from kindergarten age
children to post graduate professionals. Much of
my
experience has been teaching at the university level in
Korea, teaching
not only conversation but also
reading, writing, listening, and pronunciation.
As for my educational background, I
have a masters degree in education from the University
of Arizona in the United States. I also have a Diploma
in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages from
the University of Edinburgh.
Currently I am employed at a TEFL school
in Thailand, providing training to individuals who wish
to pursue a career in teaching English.
